Yeonje-gu bounds on Mt. Baesan to the east, Mt. Hwajisan and Mt. Geumyongsan to the west, Mt. Hwangnyeongsan to the south, and Oncheoncheon to the north. Surrounded by Busanjin-gu, Dongnae-gu, Suyeong-gu, and Haeundae-gu, Yeonje-gu is in the center of Busan. Yeonje-gu has 5 principal roads, including Jungang-ro, Geoje-ro, and Yeonsan-ro, and intersection of Subway No.1 line and Subway No.3 line.
