Overview
Geumryeon-san, which belongs to Yeonje-gu, has a temple standing proudly.
It has a history as long as Beomeosa. Maha of Mahasa is a Sanskrit word, meanings “superb”, “noble”, or “great”.
So, it literally means “a great temple”. It has been sais since the ancient times that the current location of, Mahasa, carries the lay of the land where the golden crane incubates eggs, as described in the phrase of “Geumhakporan”.
Thus, you will get warm energy once you step into the temple gate.
